“Supervillains recruited from prison, sent on covert missions and injected with a nanite bomb so we stay in line.
A bad deal.”
Suicide Six: The Dirty Half-Dozen
Your actions put you on the wrong side of the law. Wrong enough to earn a serious criminal record. But someone figured out that your superhuman talents were better suited for… worthwhile enterprises, instead of moldering away in solitary confinement. Using them for your own personal whims put you behind bars, and now using them for someone else’s will get your free. You got an offer to join a Suicide Squad: a top-secret task force which sends you out to do the dirty jobs nobody else will touch. Plausible deniability and all that. If you survive, and follow your instructions, your sentence will be commuted to time served, your criminal record wiped clean. Take an implanted cortex bomb and enjoy limited freedoms while performing risky assignments for the government; that was the offer.
And for whatever reason… you accepted. Welcome, Agent. Welcome to Task Force Death.
A supers campaign for a Metro-Detroit RPG using a tweaked form of ICONS/FATE.
